Kosmetiikkalöytöjä luvassa tälläkertaa.
Toinen näistä tämän hetken kosmetiikkasuosikeistani on minulle totaalisen uusi tuttavuus ja toinen vanha tuttavuus, jonka olemassaolon olin hienosti ehtinyt jo kokonaan unohtaa.
Tämä vanha tuttava on Carmex huulirasva - koostumukseltaan miellyttävä hoitava huulirasva, jonka lumoissa olin Irlannissa asuessani. Jotenkin kotiinpaluun jälkeen tämä huulirasva ikäänkuin vaan unohtui - kunnes bongasin uudelleen tämän pienen keltaisen purnukan niinkin uskomattomasta paikasta kuin Finkinon leffateatterista. Leffateatterin kassalla tarjottiin Carmex huulirasvaa eurolla minkä tahansa ostoksen kanssa kimppaan - ikään kuin kaupanpäällisiksi - hetken purkkia tuijotettuani koin ahaa -elämyksen, että tuohan on juuri SE HYVÄ huulirasva.
Melkein itkin ilosta Carmex rasvan ja minun tieni kohtasivat jälleen. Vielä iloisemmalle mielelle tulin eilisellä kauppareissulla, kun huomasin että oikeastihan tuota Carmexia on tarjolla marketin valikoimissakin.
Toinen näistä uusista täsmäsuosikkipurkeistani pitää sisällään eye liner -rajausväriä. Kyseessä on L'Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner sävynä valikoiman tummin - The Blackest Black. Omistan alati kosteat silmät - Bambi Eye Effect - etenkin näin kylmillä kausilla silmät valuttavat tehokkaasti rajausvärit ja ripsarit poskipäille. Joten vedenkestävä rajausväri - vedenkestävän ripsivärin rinnalle - on minulle täydellinen täsmätuote talvikaudelle.
Mietiskelin ja tutkiskelin jonkin aikaa tätä rajausväriasiaa - hipelöin jopa taannoisella Prahan reissulla Benefitin They're Real Push Up -lineria - päädyin kuitenkin lopulta kokeilemaan tätä L'Orealin geeliväriä. Geeliäriä on muutamalla kosmetiikka foorumilla sekä useamman blogistin toimesta on kehuttu vallan toimivaksi ja hyvin pysyväksi kehoittaen kokeilemaan väriä omalla kohdalla.
Ensituntuma tuotteeseen on positiivinen - väri on miellyttävää levittää pakkauksessa mukana tulevalla pensselillä ja toistaiseksi väri on pysynyt paikoillaa tiukemmassakin tuiskussa.

Today's topic is make-up. Two of my current cosmetic favorites
- Lovely Jars full of wonderful goodies.
First one of them is this bright yellow Carmex -lip balm. I fell in love with Carmex while back in Ireland. Like in so many other love stories distance came between me and Carmex too - I managed to forgot this miraculous product for so many years after returning back to Finland (this "uups I forgot this amazing product" -incident is kinda silly, since you need way more lip balm here in Finland than in Ireland with mild European winter weather.)
But now Carmex is back in my life - Im so grateful for that. Guess, where I remember once again that this magical lip balm actually exists - In a Movie Theater! Few weeks ago I went to movies with my hubby (movie was Battle of Five Arms - just to let you know) and they had this special offer in cash out - Buy Anything and Get Carmex lip balm for 1 euro. I have to admit, that I stared a long while the little yellow jar until I realized that I know this product and this is THE magical LIP BALM I loved so much back in Ireland.
Since that day Carmex and I have been inseparable.
The second find is gel eyeliner from L'Oreal - L'Oreal Infallible Lacquer Liner in color Blackest Black. I have very moist eyes - so called Bambi Eyes - and cold winter seasons tend to increase leakage from my eyes. Almost every day I end up looking almost identical to
My waterproof mascara has been screaming to collaborate with a water proof liner. For weeks I have been looking around to find product I like to test. Finally, like week ago, I ended up with this L'Oreal gel liner ( I have read pretty positive reviews about it from beauty boards and blogs).
So far so good - lines is nice and smooth to apply and it stays on pretty well.
I am pleased with my pic.
